Chencho home stay

Ngwang is a great host. Her home is located a the beautiful valley in Paro. It was for the first time in my life that I had a chance to stay in traditional home. The family lives downstairs and Ngwang is there to help you the moment you need a help. The very reason that they have retained the old construction, makes them environmentally friendly . They have a reliable method of waste-management, vegetables are grown in their own farm and they use traditional heating method to keep the indoors warm. Cbencho home stay also allows you to indulge in Hot-stone bath which is a must after a tiring day! I strongly recommend this place for a comfortable stay [especially to solo women travellers] in case you choose to stay in Paro while visiting Bhutan.
